HOUR OF CODE
Scratch is an intuitive tool to help children from 8 to 16 years old learn to code. Scratch helps students think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively - and what's more it's fun!
So here's how you get involved:
Step 1. Watch our friends Bajo and Hex from Good Game give tips on what makes a good game.
Step 2. Read and watch our Make your own game using Scratch digibook - this takes you through the steps required to build a game with Scratch.
Step 3. Jump onto Scratch and build your game. Don't forget you need to register to save your game.
Step 4. Once your game is complete, tell the team at Code Club about it by filling in the entry form and get a certificate of participation.
